Founded by winemakers Matt Nagy and Ben Brenner, with a philosophy of minimal intervention using meticulously farmed, struggling vineyards for intense fruit, creating expressive wines with little manipulation in the cellar. The idea of the winemaker is to be the reliable translator – to take what was made in the vineyard from sun, water, and soil and let it become the finest wine it can be.

Matt is known for his experience with renowned producers like Thomas Rivers Brown and brings a high-level craft to their small-production wines. Ben brings his own expertise, working alongside Matt to embody their “benevolent neglect” philosophy in both vineyard and cellar.
